David Ballantine
David Ballantine has been selected to stand in the Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse Scottish Parliamentary elections for the Aliiance For Democracy and Freedom. David is from Stonehouse and attended Stonehouse Primary where his mother Sheila Ballantine was a teacher at Stonehouse Primary. His grandmother used to make uniforms for the nurses at Stonehouse Hospital and his Grandfather was a shop steward and textile worker at Dax Simpsons in Larkhall.
David was the first member of his family to get a degree although has dyslexia and ADD which he later helped Karen Gillian MSP for Clydesdale and Jack McConnell FM to bring in new legislation for children with specific learning difficulties. David got a degree in Financial Services qualities as an IFA and Stockbroker before heading up two Central Bank Licensed Derivatives brokers in Dubai.
When David was 21 he put together a proposal to amalgamate the three rugby clubs in the Hamilton District to improve the quality of rugby facilities which proposal was helped by the Hamilton Advertiser. From this Hamilton rugby club got their land on a 99 year lease raised £3/4 million and went up 7 divisions during which David got player of the year for Hamilton in the 2nds then score 20 tries before November documented in the Hamilton Advertiser again.
David has also been in a number of films including Oscar nominated Napoleon Grammy nomination Harry Styles Adore You and Emmy nominated The Crown. He is also the CEO of The Guerilla TV Channel probably the most in-depth online political channel in the UK. David is not only standing in Hamilton, Larkhall constituency but is also No1 on the regional list for ADF Scotland and is looking for as many regional or list votes as possible.

Environment and Low cost energy
In an era where climate change poses significant threats, David pledges to champion improvements to the area and the housing, commercial and industrial environment in Hamilton Larkhall and Stonehouse. His campaign emphasises the importance of green spaces, enhancing public transport, and promoting oil, gas, coal, petrol and diesel.
